Starbase is a spaceport, production, and development facility for Starship rockets, located at Boca Chica, Texas, United States. The facility is owned and operated by SpaceX, and is the site of the company’s first Starship production line.
The first Starship prototype, SN1, was assembled at the nearby SpaceX South Texas Launch Site, and transported to Starbase for testing.
Starbase is currently in the early stages of development, with SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk stating that the facility will eventually be capable of producing up to 100 Starships per year.

Visitors to Kennedy Space Center can view a launch from the Visitor Complex. The Visitor Complex is located on the grounds of Kennedy Space Center and offers a variety of exhibits and interactive experiences. Visitors can also see a launch from one of the many viewing areas located around the launch pads.
The Visitor Complex at Kennedy Space Center is a must-see for anyone interested in space exploration. You should expect to spend at least 6 hours there, and we recommend the full day (9 hours) if you want to see everything. There’s a lot to see and do, from tours of the historic launch pads to hands-on science experiments. You’ll also want to allow time to visit the gift shops and restaurants.
